John Madox (otherwise John Mallicks) found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of James Stringer in the parish of Holy, Trinity, Guildford on 17th September 1763; and stealing therefrom a silver mug (valued at 40/-), a silver pepper caster (valued at 10/6), a silver tablespoon (valued at 10/-), 5 silver teaspoons (valued at 14/-) and silver tea tongs (valued at 6/-).
